Follicle Implantation – Choi Pen Technology (DHI)

The idea behind this technique is simple: combining the work of cutting channels in the receiving area with implanted follicles in one operation, the Choi Pen is a pen-like device with a hollow needle at its end connected to a tube and a piston.
During the hair transplant process with the Choi pen, the doctor loads the follicles extracted from the donor area into the transplant pen, and the follicles are gently placed, using forceps, inside the hollow needle (at the end of the transplant pen). Then the pen is used to implant the pre-loaded follicles in the scalp, the doctor inserts the needle at an appropriate angle into the scalp (making a canal incision) and implants the follicle by pressing the piston. This process is repeated afterwards to implant one follicle at a time
